I'll be there today. After the first 2 conference wins I decided to make the trip down to peoria for the weekend! Let's get off to a 3-0 start!

I suppose that I'll tear myself away from the Seattle - Washington football game too.

Yeah....and as far as the general public goes.....I'm wondering why the radio advertisements continued to say Saturday 1/6. Then, when that finally got corrected, I believe they got the gametime wrong.
???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12

Yes, I even heard Dave Snell say Saturday 1/6 on his last postgame show, though he corrected it later.
And in fairness, to Bradley, this game was scheduled by the MVC to get a slot on ESPNU. But the schedule still has only 1 Saturday night game, which we need more of!

Anyway- the one advantage of a Sunday afternoon game is that there are no high schools playing at that time.
So, I hear we will have several very good recruits at the game today!

My point is that the old reliable fans will be there. I will be at the PCC today! However, I just got back from a playoff party/cookout. --one of two NFL cookout parties I have been invited to today-- The casual sports fan, which is what is needed to increase attendance above the reliable fan base, has way too many distractions to be bothered by a MVC game on a Sunday.

???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™

I'm DVRing the footall game and I sure hope the CC doesn't spoil it for me. Ugh.

Let's hope none of the recruits just can't miss a football game.

Looks worse for Bradley fans to be mad because they have to miss a football game because of a Bradley game. How many Bradley fans who would be able to make it to the Bradley game are Washington or Seattle fans? GO BRAVES

                              Dear Beninator,

Do you really think Bradley chose to play this game on a Sunday afternoon? The league schedule is done by the Missouri Valley Conference and works within available television windows, as well as available dates at the Peoria Civic Center.

                              Sincerely,

there were a lot of walk ups and the lobby was crowded - but that still pushed the attendance total only to around 7300...but we were loud...
