  • Geno pleads for fan supprt

    In this morning's interview...

    per Geno Ford....
"This is probably the most important game from a fan participation standpoint in a long time,??? he said.
???We need an energetic, enthusiastic and big crowd for us to play at our top level, which is what this is going to take.???

I think there will be a good crowd. But it hurts that the game is scheduled at such an odd time on a Sunday afternoon.

        Dear Bradley Athletic Department,

Please do the sensible thing and schedule games for SATURDAY NIGHT! Having games on a Sunday especially during the NFL Playoffs is really stupid!

        Sincerely,

        The Fans

???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™

The best game of the NFL playoffs was last night. So that probably wouldn't work for those busy schedules either.

Well - the most relevant local game of the Wild Card round at least.

I'm sure the scheduling had more to do with ESPN than anything else. This is the price that must be paid for bright lights?

I'll have my crew there. I also hope to see Superfan and/or Captain Brave in attendance..

Scheduling a game for late Sunday afternoon where people are thinking about the next work week is crazy. We do this all the freakin time and then the powers that be wonder about attendance. SMH

It's a Bradley Braves game. Our local University. Be there and quit crying about game day and time. Have odd times for the Big Dance also. I'm sure Paul H will keep you all informed of the scores.

                        Bingo!

The Big Ten plays Sunday afternoon games, and it seems to work for them. I sure hope the fans show up at Crisler Center and Williams Arena this afternoon. You would think that Michigan could get better dates in their own building.

iphone is more reliable than Paul H. Just looks bad for a coach to plead for more people to turn out for a big game.

I miss the band and the student involvement (regardless of how small the group is) during the Christmas break.
