  • 2007 scouting report for Bradley

Pomeroy's stats on Bradley. Interesting stuff. Begs the question of whether or not BU was more effective with Will at the point while DR was injured. Has BU's offense been less effective since DR's return??? Or is BU just playing better competition???

Here's an updated Conference report on the MVC from USA Today

Although it is dated Dec. 1, it is written as if it was done before BU's first game againsy DePaul.

But the report that was there on Dec. 4th was still a preseason report, so this one is a bit newer.

Zach has one of the more interesting stat lines:

Of the starters (Ruffin not included due to injury), Zach logs the fewest minutes, but gets 63.9 per 200.

Yet he is involved in the highest % possessions at 27.8% (127th nationally). He has mastered the outlet pass.

He is the 128th most frequently sent to the FT line. How big are his misses?

His offensive rating is 97.7 which is actually less than Salley.

Rebounding, Zach gets 15% available offensive and 27% available defensive, 48th and 16th nationally, respectively.

If Zach starts making the majority of FT's and can find a few more interior points, Bradley will overachieve.

If Salley can develop a more consistent ability to finish (more games like Wright State), that will take some pressure off Zach that will lead to better overall results for Andrews.

Warren's slashing ability will help, too. I don't want to see Crouch forget how to slash, either, because if his shots stop falling, he will need that aspect of his game to fill the void.
