entertaining game...our guys played really, really hard...
we had some nice runs but our failure to handle the press at times and the failure to hit the three with regularity continue to hurt us.

In the BSS room before the game Coach Greg Graham said here'd be four NBA scouts there to watch Cleanthony Early...and in the first half early made some silly fouls but still had 12 pts...and he played well in the 2nd half as well hitting 4-7 from 3-pt
He was the difference in the game - if we had a really athletic wing we might have contended - and I hope Tucker fits that bill...

Wichita sure has grabbed some good juco players - Early, Hall, Wiggins, Lufile..to go with their good freshman guard VanVleet

But as some encouragement - if we play this hard and defend like this - we're definitely in the upper half of the Valley

Great effort, but Bradley was one 3-point shooter away from winning this game. Jake was hot in the first half, but we couldn't get any perimeter scoring down the stretch, and lost a couple key rebounds.

Early was definitely the difference maker. Play like we play tonight every night, and we're in the 3-6 matchup and it won't be as the 6...

Agreed tornado. We still don't have the depth, length, or horses (that sounds kinda dirty, doesn't it? ) to compete with a team like WSU but, if we play like this, we are definitely a top 5 team in the MVC. Wichita's size and length is just ridiculous compared to us. I just love the way Marshall finds these guys with 7'+ wingspans... We need that too.

Oh, and ESPNU's Mark Adams was a real pleasure to listen to... He eally knows his stuff and was very complimentary of both Bradley and Wichita.

I'm hopeful Pickett can turn it around in 3 days to be ready for the next game. That was a hard fall and I'm quite sure his lower back will be very tight and sore.

GG ,yes I can confirm your parents are in good hands down here. This is not a cult ,it is Disneyland for adults. This is my 2nd year down here and I just love it. I miss the Braves but this place is unbelieveable. Watched the game tonight and it gave me more hope that better days are not that far off. Couple shooters ,a PG and couple bigs and we will be right in the mix with WSU and CU. Go Braves

Anytime you play a top league team with as much of a talent advantage as the shockers clearly have and you are talking about a play or shot here or there, you've played a good game. A win wouLd have been great but Bradley is going in the right direction.

It was a great game, but the better team is the one who came out on top. They were so much better than us inside. Prosser missed a couple at point bland range..make those and we probably win.
As hot as Jake was earlier, how come he rarely shot in the 2nd half? Dave S mentioned at one time that he had only taken 1 shot after halftime. Key free throws made would have won the game. Definitely another game the Braves should have won.

Heck of an effort today but this would of been a W if we had Egolf. If they can somehow pick up these next 2 road wins, 3rd or 4th place in the Valley is a very good possibility.

+1 Very enjoyable to listen to the announcers today!

Thought the same but they probably put some emphasis on him in the 2nd 1/2. What lost us the game more then anything else was TOs. That was the ugly part of our game which we need to clean up. WSU plays some great fundamental D but so do our Braves! Not to many guards in the Valley are going to relish DSE and WL covering them. I also was hoping we would have drawn up a driving play inside for DSE or WL. We were in the bonus for a long time the 2nd 1/2 and did not take advantage of it like we could of. At one point our O stopped passing and we started going one on one. We are what we are and I like what I'm seeing from this bunch. They are working hard on the defensive end and creating offense off of it. We are also a much much better rebounding team then the last couple of years. That is where you see EFFORT. We win with a true PG handling the ball or if WE could have played IMO. SS was active but needs to bulk up to play the 4.

GO Braves even though they lost I enjoyed the game and love rooting for this team!

Snell and Klein also said that Marshall made adjustments at the half limiting jakes looks. The WSU defense was the reason Jake only had 1 shot after halftime.

For what it's worth.....I thought it was a great shot. People will disagree but they are entitled to their opinion. Would I have liked I see us drive to the bucket and potentially draw a foul? Sure, but I have no problem at all with that shot, given how wide open it was because open looks were tough to come by. Just like I didn't have a problem with Egolfs shot at the end of the game vs. Portland....sooner or later one of those goes down

Wichita was bigger, stronger, more athletic, and better shooters. If they had lost they would be saying it was a game they should have won. And they would be right. Bradley played hard and for the most part very well against a better team. They put themselves in a position to win but just didnt execute well enough at the end. More positives than negatives. Nothing to be ashamed of.
