The Bradley team has excellent medical and orthopedic specialists available 24 hours a day to the players. That is the part that makes this hard to understand.
If an addiction is involved, or if he feels that he needs more pain killers for whatever reason, I think it is very understandable.

    • I can guarantee that a bigger surgery than WE last year! I think i used the morphine pump four times top in a 4 day stay in the hospital. I leave the hospital and pitch the Vicodin for ibuprofen. It wasn't fun..but doable. I'm not saying that makes me superman. I'm saying that his statement is questionable at best!

Okay, I apologize if you weren't the poster who said this. I think it was another poster I was responding to. I know someone said this, but since it wasn't you, I'm sorry for the mix up.

That's fine. I respect your opinion. But others are going to speculate and that's okay too as long as they do it respectfully.

I know like 4000 posts have already been deleted..(maybe they are still here)

but I saw a handful along the lines of "IF Will was buying drugs he SHOULD be GONE" posts...which made the posters seem a little quick to the trigger or as if they were passing judgement too soon.

Yes.....I'm not sure why it was seemingly so difficult for people to refrain from all the speculation when more details would be available soon enough.

Exactly, like the guy that took out my mailbox and utility pole with his van this fall. He told the cops "there was a deer". Yah right, at 9:00am...
cop agreed and said, check the paper tomorrow...no license, no insurance, no registration...

My view is a little different now that we know what it is he was buying and is using.

If it was weed, I would have thought he was a knucklehead. If it had been something along the lines of cocaine, meth, etc... I would have thought he was a huge problem to have around the other players and believed he needed to be dismissed.

PacMan unless you are actively playing sports at that level you have no idea what it takes. There are guys who have not gone through surgery that wake up every day in serious pain. I'm not sure what is questionable. He obviously has pain and a medication issue that needs to be seriously addressed before he steps on a court again.

Again we are seeing posters stepping out of the wood work to express a total negative slant onto the University. One thing about BU is that they will not play this down. My prayers are with Will that he'll get this pain issue taken care of. I have a friend who played college ball and had back surgery and the pain almost crushed his life. It took time and a pain management specialist to help him get through it in order to be able to weed himself off of pain killers and alcohol. This will be a lifetime issue for the young man.

BTW there were a few posters who were ready to throw him out unto the street.

At least 4 games. We'll find out soon enough.

Agree. It happens EVERY time something bad happens... we lose by 45 at home, JL gets fired, or a player gets in trouble...

No shows when we beat Illinois, win by 20+ on the road, or get a highly ranked recruit.

                            • the transaction involved SIX TABLETS of Vicodin

this is not enough to sustain an addict long enough to see the ball drop at midnight - nor relieve pain more than a 8-12 hours...
there really is only one logical explanation...

First off, I agree on the theory that 6 tabs isnt going to help solve anything...

                                But only one logical explanation?

I can think of the four earlier I posted. Which three are bad?
