Indiana State gets a nice win over Mississippi in Hawaii
ex-BU recruit Marshall Henderson was 10-23 and 7-16 from 3-pt and 27 pts..

For the Sycs Justin Gant 12 pts, 11 reb
Manny Arop 27 pts, Odum 16 pts, 8 reb, 8 asst

Illini down 6 at half - they have shot poorly & have been badly outrebounded & are lucky to be this close

          Some upsets...
Virginia has only 44 pts and losing by 7 to ODU in the final 3 minutes - Old Dominion has lost 9 in a row & are very bad
Robert Goff (ex-BU recruit) had 2 pts/4 reb in 22 min against UK - how was he rated one of the nation's best big men?
Texas A&M loses to Southern - ex-BU recruit Fabyon Harris is slumping - only averaging 9.8 ppg, 1.4 assists now
New Mexico, #16 ranked - loses to South Dakota 70-65 - SDSU's Nate Wolters has 28 pts - and proves the value of a guy who can shoot the mid-range jumper!
UIC loses back-to-back after going 10-1 against horribly soft scheduling...
          #3 Syracuse loses to Temple

Not to rain on Indiana St.'s parade, but Mississippi's rot schedule may easily be one of the five or six worst BCS schedules this year. You thought Wisconsin's was bad tornado, take a look at Mississippi's non-conference schedule:

            Scores & Schedule

Date Opponent Result Tickets Audio/Video Video Highlights
            Fri, Nov 9 Miss. Valley St. W 93-57 -- -- --
            Tue, Nov 13 Coastal Carolina W 90-72 -- -- --
            Fri, Nov 16 AR Little Rock W 92-52 -- -- --
            Tue, Nov 20 McNeese St. W 76-50 -- -- --
            Fri, Nov 23 Lipscomb W 91-45 -- -- --
            Sat, Dec 1 Rutgers W 80-67 -- -- --
            Sat, Dec 8 at Middle Tenn. St. L 62-65 -- -- --
            Fri, Dec 14 E. Tennessee St. W 77-55 -- -- --
            Wed, Dec 19 at Loyola Marymount W 73-70 -- -- --
Sat, Dec 22 at Indiana St. L 85-87

Nothing like beating up on NCAA "powers" McNeese St., Lipscomb and Arkansas Little Rock! What was their "signature" win this year, Rutgers? They're 8-2 with a similarly putrid schedule. Anyway, my point is while this was a nice win for the Sycamores, I don't think it will stand up too well by the end of the year. The only hope for Ole Miss is that the SEC isn't half as good as the Big Ten and Big East this year, so maybe they beat up on some mediocre conference opponents during the SEC season.
