Looks like Evansville will cruise to a win over Oakland City. They are up 20 in the 2nd half-
But things are getting worse for Missouri State- they trail Alabama A&M 39-29 with 15 minutes left.
Alabama A&M is one of the worst teams in Division I. They are 0-6 against D1 schools, with an RPI of 323. Evansville beat them by 26.
Missouri State is 0-8 against D1 schools. Their only 2 wins were against Philander Smith, and Malone.

This has got to be the worst scheduling decision I can ever recall by an MVC team.
One other result from tonight- Western Illinois dominated UIC in the 2nd half to pull away to a 70-54 win-
This is a nice win for Coach Molinari over his former assistant Howard Moore. UIC had started the season 9-1 with their only loss at ranked New Mexico.
WIU is now 8-3 and has won 5 in a row.

???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12

There's even FIRE LUSK threads already going on their boards!!!! -- they even want to send their AD packing!
All you have to do is a simple search on this board and see that there were many here who wanted Lusk or Montgomery badly at Bradley -- and each is in their 2nd years...and...
Geno has us headed to 8-2 -
Montgomery has NIU 1-7 against D-I opponents - also scoring frequently in the 40's
and Lusk has MSU losing horribly on the road to Alabama A&M and currently 0-9 against Division I opponents...scoring in the 40's 4 times, and in the 50's three more times- of their players who score 5ppg or more - all but one shoots around 30% from the field and 25% from 3-pt

Great win for Coach Mo though against a red hot UIC team that beat Northwestern earlier this year.

Lusk's start in Springfield hasn't been good. But he has had some bad luck. We lost Jarmar Gulley who was probably the best guy coming back, and then lost two signed JUCOs before the season. At least one of the JUCOs would have been a starter, and the other would have had some minutes. Last night we also were missing an additional starter and a key bench guy. So it is going quite poorly, but I can't say it is all around in-game coaching.
As far as Barry goes, Zo got us a title in three years with less talent than Barry ever had. I'm sure there is an argument there somewhere but I'm not in anguish over the little general, but do wish him well with dogs.

This time, it's warranted.
Hands down the worst scheduling decision I've ever seen a Valley team make. Forget the result of the game. Just having it there in the first place is disgraceful to the Valley. MSU administrators owe the conference multiple apologies for the existence of this game.
