we are fortunate that there's 5 or 6 Valley teams that like us are kinda rebuilding or struggling...MSU, SIU, InSU, DU, UE, even UNI... we can compete with these guys - maybe even WSU if all their starters are sitting out -

Though they are not worth comparing to NCAA or NIT Tournaments, given the choice between Bradley's season ending and one more game, it would take a lot for me to turn down seeing one more game.Return to Glory

Bradley 304
SIU 313
Evansville 320
That's out of 347 schools. I am curious where is all the talk of "hurting the MVC's Conference RPI" with #'s like those?
Now these are only forcasted #'s. And I have no idea how reliable those forcasts are. But Bradley does have a SOS right now @ 297, SIU's @ 295, Aces is currently @ 193

We do have South Florida, Michigan, George Washington, Virginia Tech, and possibly Colorado State on the schedule. That's good enough for me.
I'm not exactly sure what isu fans think Bradley's schedule should have looked like this season.???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12

That number does not account for the bracket buster game or the 2nd game in Las Vegas. There is a chance that the 2nd Vegas game is CSU which would be a top 100 opponent. The bracketbuster is the great unknown, but could wind up being an extra top 150 on the road.
Also - with the bracketbusters ending, will we have a return game in 2013 or 2014 from the opponent this year?

I was able to find this bit of information....
"According to Murray State Athletic Director Allen Ward, teams are still contractually obliged to play return games even when Bracketbusters ends."???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. Great job this week BU. If we can't score, we need to keep the other team from doing so. Of course, that got Mo fired, but at this point we will take it!
Regardless of what happens in Vegas, I have seen enough to know that we should be able to win most if not all home games in the MVC, and maybe steal a couple on the road. Geno has done a great job getting this team to play together.

Most of the ISU fans I have talked with are a bit more realistic than in years gone by....especially since even when they had 24 & 25 wins they got the NIT call...
They are realistic about knowing mid-majors need to play a tough schedule AND WIN - and they are trying to do that this year - playing a tougher schedule but have yet to beat a major conference team...but did win at Dayton...
...and they are realistic that the selection Committee still might not care and could leave a "midmajor" home even with an RPI of 20 while offering an at-large bid to a BCS school even when they have 14 losses or an RPI of almost 80!!
