Here is an interesting score from tonight-
Anderson University 65
College of Charleston 49
Box score for the Anderson (SC) Trojans vs. Charleston Cougars NCAAM game from December 13, 2012 on ESPN. Includes all points, rebounds and steals stats.
Anderson University is a small Baptist Division II school from Anderson, South Carolina. College of Charleston was having a pretty good year with a win over ranked Baylor. But they were dominated tonight by Anderson, who lead for all but a few seconds early in the game. But even more interesting is that this game was an exhibition game for Anderson, but a regular season game for Charleston.
And Tennessee beat Wichita State 69-60-

Another score of interest- Eureka College from Eureka, Illinois (a Division III school) played Texas Pan-American tonight in Edinburg, Texas. They didn't have the same luck as Anderson did at C of C. UTPA won 92-64-

Well that's a shame that WSU could not pull this game out, but that's what happens when a team faces a former Valley coach. I'm sure Cuonzo knows all of the nuiances of the Shockers team, and that gave him a bit of an advantage. Plus this was the quality win Tennessee desperately needed. Unfortunately a Shocker's win would have all but cinched an NCAA Tournament bid. But now the door for them being left out has been open a crack, though they still should have enough quality wins to be in.

2 bids would be nice, but even 1 wouldn't surprise me. As people have pointed out, not many great wins in the non-conf.
Some big games on Saturday - maybe our last chance as a conference to get some quality wins...potentially the 2 biggest wins of the non-conf. if UNI wins at Iowa and CU wins at Cal.
