    A couple articles about Eustachy-

Thanks DC. That makes sense, though I did not hear about this during the off season.

Something tells me that if CSU stumbles in the next couple of years, he will be on the hot seat pretty quick, especially if more controversy regarding his coaching style crops up. CSU is in a great conference (at least for this year), and if they bomb out in conference play, that will be a big negative on Eustachy in a hurry!

but he tends to get exposed in the post-season...with all those winning seasons - he's basically had only one year where he's done a thing in the post-season -
plus we all know he kinda holds the record for the worst NCAA Tourney loss when he was seeded #2 and got bumped out by Steve Merfeld's Hampton.
Ah yes! I remember that game well. One of my former coworkers is an Iowa St. alum, and he never lived that game down. I'm not sure Iowa St. has won a postseason game since then.

Regarding his soft schedule, the big difference here than in the CUSA is that he will have a brutal schedule of conference games to go through. We'll see how prepared CSU is for the postseason once they get through the season. Either they will earn an NCAA Tournament bid and be battle tested for the postseason, or the team will implode because they weren't prepared for the level of competition they have to go through in the MWC. If they do make the tournament though, I think they would at least potentially be able to do better in the postseason than his S. Mississppi teams did.
