When I looked at our box score this morning, I was thinking, how did we win by 20. Gotta love the inside depth we finally have that can make up for other problems like lack of outside shooting. The crowds will come back if Bradley keeps winning, and I like what I see compared to last year.

Agreed. I like it better too.

The last few years, we were losing too many of these games and to now be winning them by double digits is a big improvement in my book. We are by no means where I think we all want us to be, but then again we haven??™t been there since we won the conference in 1988.

I think most of his minutes were at the end of the first half.

Bradley needs another player like SS in the rotation in the post once Valley play starts. The big guys pick up a lot of fouls.

DSE #5 in nation, Bradley #11 in nation in steals. The defense is fantastic, and you could hear the excitement in Geno's voice in the post game show. It seems as if the players and coaches are all on the same page! Now all we need is for shots to drop, which all we can really do now is start hoping

true... but half our rebounds are because we miss so bad or the ball bounces far away from the rim

No doubt. But we werent getting them before this year. Any time you shoot from outside there will be long rebounds. Think about it If you do great on the offensive boards you don't have to shoot great

Shayok played very well - he did come in when Egolf & Pross had each picked up fouls and actually played well in a mid-game setting and not mop-up action....
                - he had more energy and was aggressive - battled for several rebounds, got a couple & then put one back for a layup and got good enough position to be able to get to the FT line twice...
If he is satisfied playing a 4-5 position and he stays down low - he is an asset...
away from the hoop trying to dribble, drive, or shoot long jumpers are not the strong suits currently
Believe it or not - for all BU players who have taken more than ONE SHOT - he leads the team in FG shooting accuracy.

I thought SS played well and within himself. If he is to play the 4 spot for significant time it is apparent he still needs to beef up more. He was very active and a few times if he could not get the rebound he kept the ball in play. That is one thing I have noticed from this team from just about everyone, is that they do all they can do to get possession within reason. I have not seen to many over the back calls but a bunch of tipping the ball type of plays. I really like what I'm seeing defensively from this team. Since we our shooting is off it is imperative that our D helps us get easy baskets. It kind of reminds me of those pretty good defensive SIU teams.

I also like the fact that TP has made an adjustment with his free-throw shot. A nice game to get SS some meaningful minutes as well. Now time to prepare for win #8 on Wednesday!

Just playin' Beninator. I just remember last season you were a critic of the offense especially, and for good reason. I know this year is not what you'd like it to be, but there is a noticeable difference. And for the most part, we are taking quality shots - just not a good 3-point shooting team, and may end up around 300 in the nation!
