Not a great finish, but another win.

Love all the points in the paint. Horrible free throw shooting and some awful officiating made the final much closer than it should have been.

    Keep winning BU.

JP showing he belongs in the starting 5 going forward?

Geno just said, "Guess we will put the ski mask on and run out the door."

Not pretty at the end, but I will take it. Glad we are learning to win close games, even if we falter some a the end.

I like that WE, JP and TP might have to compete for minutes.

Not good "clock management" and taking care of the ball at the end. Nice to get the win, but George Washington made a lot mistakes, too.
Nice games by all the starters (including Will, who didn't start tonight), but still a great concern about how little we get from our bench guys. It's disappointing that Ka'Darryl Bell, Nate Wells, and Shayok Shayok can't get a few minutes more playing time. My hope is that with the remaining scholarships we can land a couple quality jucos, as we can't afford for our freshmen to take so long to develop.

Agreed on next year's players. Regarding tonight, maybe this is a game we would have lost last year, but we can't afford this kind of a letdown against the better teams. Still we have a great chance to get to 8 wins before the Vegas trip, and surpass the number of wins from last year even before the conference season. Then we will see what we can do during the Valley season.

I was watching the game on BU.tv. My wife and I both wondered who was the BUM team whose score was being displayed as the game progressed. I assume it stood for Bradley University Men. I just thought it was a little quirky. I believe it was the first game I had noticed that.

Beauty is always in the eye of the beholder, but I actually thought Wll and Tyshon played poorly last night. Will was 3-8 from the field, 0-3 from three, and 1-6 from the free throw line. The 1-6 is completely inexcusable. Tyshon also didn't shoot particularly well, and had zero rebounds. The biggest concern was the silly fouls that prohibited both of them from getting into he flow of the game. I suppose the only plus side to that was it forced Geno to play Shayok extended minutes. As for Jordan, I'm really impressed with how seemingly out of nowhere, he has developed the shot with his left hand.

Shayok did play 9 minutes, still not as many as we need to give our starters a break. But I thought he looked more active. But, he again did not have any rebounds, for the 5th game out of the last 6. With his size, reach, and athletic abilities should be able to be a great rebounder.

DC, I agree with this completely. While Shayok looked better than he has all year in many aspects, we need him to really rebound well. With his athleticism, that should be a core strength in his game. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt last night, because he was more active overall, and those were some big, big boys he was going against.

But yes, we need him to give us more times (I'd love to see him get to 15 minutes) and help rebound.

Glad that game last night wasn't 41 minutes long. I don't think we would have won if it was.

JP earned himself another start with his performance last night. Given Will's tendency to get in early foul trouble, I don't think it's the worst thing to have him come of the bench.
