Bradley, Bobby Parker, Anyone who reads this forum with the power to make this happen. I would like a Home and Home with Tulane University.
This request makes sense on a lot of levels, both programs are really trying to grow into/back into bigger and better things. Tulane is a new member of the Big East (Or the new Big East, which is the old C-USA, but I digress) and would benefit from some strong mid-major competition. Bradley is re-bulding into the powerhouse that we were in years past.
Both are good academic schools, and I can assure you that an away game in New Orleans with Yours Truly as a gracious host would be an event to remeber. Tulane has a newly renovated cozy little arena, and it's a heck of a place to see a game.
While initially the students might not be impressed by this series, let me enlighten THEM to some of the benefits of a road game to NOLA.
1. I have yet to see a drinking ticket be handed out anywhere
2. Bourbon Street
3. Best food in America
4. Bourbon Street
5. Nationally Ranked Party School
6. SEC caliber Women (Trust me that this is the highest caliber)
Now, for the older folks with wives and kids.
1. History
2. Beautiful Architecture
3. Wonderful Weather
4. Best food in America
5. Best food in America
6. Best food in America
Now, BU athletics what can you expect?
1. Budding rivalry with a great academic institution with BEAST ties
2. A fun road game to prepare for every year
3. A very happy George Wright
Now, if you could promptly comply with this request I would be most appreciative, thanks in advance,
George
