Just to clarify, that InSt/NM game was an overtime final. That would have been a huge win for the Valley, but 0 for 3 against the top 25 today, albeit all close to fairly close games. Gotta win at least one of those though, and we didn't.

St. Joe's had the misfortune to end up with an angry Creighton team after their bad home loss to Boise St. the other night. St. Joe's is a much better team than this, and a possible NCAA Tournament contender.

And a horrible loss for Northwestern, a team that ISU should have beaten based on their embarrassing loss the other night to future Big Ten member Maryland. I don't know what's going on with the Wildcats, but NCAA Tournament team or not, these were two teams they had no business losing to considering this was supposed to be their best team under Bill Carmody. I don't know if he survives past this year considering he has not made the Big Dance in 9+ years of coaching, and has no injury issues this year that I know of.

Missouri State gets hammered by ORU & shoots only 2-26 from 3-pt
& UNI pulls out a win at home over UWM but Manual's Paris Gulley scores 24
thus the Valley goes 2-5 today
