That is the first time in a long time I have heard anyone say our bigs were "too big" and "too physical" to defend. So kudos to Jordan and Tyshon! I don't know what got into them and the other guys to put up 66 points in the paint, but it came at a good time. Let's keep it up!
I hope they can do the same thing against Michigan this Saturday. However, I have a feeling our team will feel the same way about Michigan's bigger and more physical players as well. Hopefully they can prove me wrong though.

I thought we should win this game but am surprised by how handily we controlled things from wire to wire. And even the UT-Martin game, we looked bad, but still won by over 20. The improvement is undeniable, especially in the post.

On a side note, (and I got nothin but love for Coach Stowell and DA) Chad Kleine is a massive upgrade in the color commentary on WMBD. He and DS are a great combo. JMHO

Somehow I find it harder to make it to and listen to BU games than when I lived 4 hours away! I'm hoping to make it to most of the conference games, but I'm glad we're winning games that we are supposed to be winning again!
... At the end, of the storm, there's a golden sky. And the sweet silver song of the lark. Walk on, through the wind, walk on, through the rain, though your dreams be tossed, and blown. Walk on, Walk on with hope in your hearts, and you'll never walk alone!
I'm behind you 100% Bradley Braves, You'll Never Walk Alone! BEAT STATE!

This is the largest margin road win I can remember since at least 09. BU has been really bad on the road the last years. Good to see some improvement.

This Michigan team is now playing like the old West Virginia teams played, except with better players.

some pretty nice press tho after last night's game...
even the "Grades" were all STRAIGHT A's....we don't see that very often...
Wouldn't straight A's (frontcourt, backcourt, offense, defense, overall, etc...) say it was the very best game in every aspect imaginable?

But I saw a whole lot that although good enough to win by plenty, we still need to improve...
where are the critical comments even after a win that we'd grown so used to??
                Comments like this......

                - Keno's poor zone press gave us probably about 15-points...maybe more..
and yet we missed almost every 3-pt attempt while at the same time giving up plenty of open threes and made them look like a whole lot better than a 28% 3-pt shooting team!

-We did look strong inside, but it was more because of how weak CMU is in the paint...and yet despite that weakness - THEY OUTREBOUNDED US!
Our bigs got into foul trouble again and we allowed them to penetrate pretty easily.

-We still play a lot of one on one (14 assists on 36 baskets) ...
I would definitely give Pross & Tyshon A+'s ....but as badly as we pounded them down low with 66 points in the paint (!!)...this is a game that we should have won by 30

WoW T - you certainly are a tough guy to please!
Seems you are more critical of DR's grade than anything.
How 'bout adding if we made 10 3's instead of 2, we'd win by 40!

Don't think we merit an "A", but he also gave us a "B" in our last home win vs. a bad opponent. Whatever the case, I am thrilled with a 17-point road victory and looking better this early in the season than at the end of last year (and for a team picked 9th in the Valley after 2 awful seasons)

Maybe they were only 93% As.

If the test is easy, you still get an A for getting the answers right.

I agree with these guys. We played a good game, by no means perfect, and it doesn't mean we're going to beat Michigan - but we won convincingly against a solid (albeit not spectacular) opponent on the road. I listened to the game off and on between phone calls and from what I heard, outside of 3-pt shooting it would be hard to find too many faults in our game from last night.

                          I don't think so.

                          Right.....like the difference between a 90% "A" and a 100% "A".

I don't think an "A" equals perfection each and every time.

Once the Valley play begins we better be able to hit the 3 or else we'll see zone and the better teams will not let us pound the ball inside. I'm glad we played well in almost every facet but not one thing from this game changed my outlook. Either someone will step up and be the shooter we need and play maker or we'll be a very very average Valley team this year. I'm really hoping the team improves every week and there has been teams that look on paper dreadful in October and some how put it all together and put up a run into March. There's always that hope, but my hope energy is fairly depleted and reality is taking over. I'm hoping our 1-3 situation has been taken care for next year and we'll get another commit that will fortify our front court. This year is all about seeing this team commit and improve in GF's system which may pay off dividends come March.

That's exactly what many of us expect SFP. When I say I'm hopeful for a .500 season and middle of the Valley pack I'm saying that we will be an average Valley team. Most of us are looking forward to being able to say we're average after being labeled as HORRIBLE for the past two or three years.

Nothing would lead me to believe that this team will magically begin to shoot better. They aren't in a slump, they just can't shoot. It's why I figured them for 12 wins this year.
