Michigan and ISU tickets to go on sale Monday, Nov. 26
Oh, and while we're at it, don't forget the ever popular "let's blindfold the person from the crowd while spinning them around 20 times, while afterward trying to make a layup" bit! Please!
Ha.....I actually did that with my oldest son at a Chiefs game 5-6 years ago.
I do not like watching it at a Bradley game. Not when there's a band and cheerleaders ready to keep the crowd going!

That money generated by those promotions has to come from somewhere folks. Bradley needs every dollar that it can raise, and more.
It would be nice if they could use the extra dollar to expand that brand new on-campus women's arena!

Let me know when Bradley joins the ACC or Big Ten and has access to an extra $24 million per year in TV revenues.
So, to better answer your question, yes, they do these promotions at Creighton and UNI.
Okay, that's fine, but let me turn this around. How about Bradley and the rest of the Valley teams get rid of these promotions, let the band and cheerleaders spark the crowd up during timeouts, and maybe, just maybe more people will buy tickets because they like the atmosphere during the games. Then these programs will make their money through extra ticket sales. Just a thought.
And by the way, I'm sure the Valley makes some TV money through ESPN and the Valley game of the week. Yes, not Big Ten or ACC money, but probably still decent nonetheless.
I would just get used to more and more ads, because every college basketball game is like that now Shaun.

Okay, well if they do, I guess the product on the floor gets the crowd energized. But even in these places, it's a shame they have to resort to this. Like Gary just posted, the big boys make plenty of money just from their TV contracts. They don't need to be doing these type of promotions.
Nobody should complain about the crowd not being in the game if they have to have these goofy promotions. Don't embarrass Bradley and Peoria when a #3 team comes to town.
Dave Reynolds just confirmed that there are "about 1,000 total left for arena".
Upon further review, it appears there are still more than 1,300 tickets available for this game.
Hopefully, there's a nice walkup crowd Saturday afternoon.

I couldn't miss a game while i'm still in town so I relented and went back to the campus and got a pretty good seat for the big game. Not far from where my season tickets used to be. Bradley basketball is the only thing I miss while I'm gone for the Winter. Never knew how much I'd miss the games and the young men giving their all for BU.

Just over 300 tickets sold in the past 21 hours.
Now there are just barely over 1,000 tickets available.

It appears tickets are still moving very nicely.....this should be a sellout!
