They went on sale yesterday morning...along with the isu game.

The "4-pack" is still cheaper than buying tickets to each of the 3 games, but I already have tickets for the WSU game. There was no chance of buying the 4-pack for just 2 games!

If you will be here, why not? Stupid isn't a strong enough word for it.
What part of illegal don't you understand?

haha i was being sarcastic in the first part....

        but my point is:

I already had nice ticket "opportunities" to ISU and WSU.... but wanted to make sure I got decent seats to UM so bought the 4 pack a week or so ago.

I thought it would be too risky to wait till 10 AM the day of the game....now that the tix are being sold as of yesterday its just annoying.

I want this game to sellout and to have a huge student turnout also because it helps with the future of Bradley basketball , we need to be able to show recruits on what a big time atmosphere it can be at Carver with a winning team.

            I completely agree.

I also think the powers that be should suspend the in-game ads for both the Michigan and the isu games, let the band play, and create an atmosphere one would expect to experience at a college basketball game.

By the way, are there any recruits scheduled to be at this game? I would think so since it's a weekend game.

              Those ads aren't cheap.

I am sure the folks that buy the ads wouldn't be happy if they were only run on the games drawing 7,000 and not the games drawing 10,000+.

I would just get used to more and more ads, because every college basketball game is like that now Shaun.

I don't know much time you spend in other college arenas, but everybody is selling ads on their digital boards now.

Also, Bradley doesn't control all of the space. Some of it is retained by the PCC.

I was just dreaming....now, back to reality.......

                  YES......more ads.....less band....less cheerleaders!

I absolutely cannot wait to see the kids changing into a Bradley uniform while running down the court, a nailbiting game of musical chairs, maybe a pizza run, and if we're lucky.....a surfing race.

I was actually talking more about the "games" that are played on the court, much like between innings at a Chiefs game.

I do understand the concept of advertising, but I would rather listen to the band than watch these silly games take place.

The same principle applies. These games are sponsored and pay for certain aspects of the program. At least these have a little entertainment value to the casual fan.

Just think that the pizza race sponsored by XYZ Corporation is paying for a few basketballs that will help this team learn to shoot.

I do agree with you that I would like to see less of this stuff and more of the band and cheerleaders. I just realize that it isn't going to happen unless a T Boone Pickens of the world suddenly decides to bankroll the program.

It's just a shame when your team is on a run and the crowd is into the game and we have to watch 2 ten year olds run up the court trying to put on a uniform and trying to make a layup. Or someone trying to make a layup and a free throw to get a pizza. In others words, shut up fans. Do all this at halftime.

This team deserves a sellout with the way they are playing, I also wish all the extra crap on the floor would just go away as the band and the cheerleaders are more important and they make for a better college atmosphere.

That is minor league stuff, which in my opinion has absolutely no business existing at a college basketball game, even at halftime. Let the crowd sit for two minutes during a timeout buzzing about that great dunk we made, and they will get right back into the game afterwards. But forcing one of those dopey promotions on the crowd kills any momentum, and also keeps the students and the band from doing their thing during the timeout. Enough already!

Oh, and while we're at it, don't forget the ever popular "let's blindfold the person from the crowd while spinning them around 20 times, while afterward trying to make a layup" bit! Please!
