Bradley hosts University of Tennessee-Martin on Saturday, Nov. 24, in another 1:00 PM afternoon game. Bradley is now 3-1 after a loss at USF Tuesday. UT-M is 2-3, with their only wins coming against Division III Fontbonne, and a win over NAIA Lyon on Tuesday (11/20) night.

UTM finished last season dead last in the Ohio Valley Conference with a record of 2-27, and 0-16 in the OVC. Their RPI was 326. They loaded up with a number of juco transfers and were expected to be improved this season.

btw - Geno talked like Jimmy Gavin (walk-on) is close to being part of the regular rotation....and I noticed he entered the game Tuesday in the frist 7 minutes of the 2nd half...

It's a win and I'll take it, but that was some real unattractive basketball I just got done watching. But last year it was unattractive hoops and losses, so far this year at least we're winning. Improvement!

Yes Big Mike, there were plenty of positives to take away today from players like Eastman, Walt, DSE, Egolf, Crawford, and Gavin. I'm happy for the win and I'm happy that some key guys stepped up. However, against a better team, we would have been blown out early if we played like we did.

Jimmy is a good player and should continue to get minutes as he is a good shooter and he can also score inside, I like him because he plays aggressively like Jake.

Let me first say I like Jimmy Gavin and I hope we can find some minutes for him. He is athletic, guards pretty well, and can shoot the three. But, to paraphrase some of the loudest critics of the past regime- if we have to be playing walkons, ahead of our scholarship players.....
