    hope things turn around...

first 6 minutes we're down 16-7 but too many turnovers, hurt by poor PG play...
and of course they hit their 3's

6 turnovers in less than 8 minutes!
???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12

      turnovers & more turnovers....
and if we're going to rely on Will Egolf & Jake Eastman as our main 3-pt shooters - then it's not going to carry us too far...

11 min to go in 1st half 21-9.....

Jake is going to get lots of open looks from beyond the arc, and there's a pretty good historic reason for that.

it's our defense that's currently in a slump....we have to slow them down.........
26-14......as they finally miss a three pointer....

32-20.....we call TO as we are giving up baskets way too easy - only a few seconds into each possession...

The Bradley women lost to USF by 10. It's going to be very difficult for our men as USF returns 4 starters from last year's Sweet 16 team. Go Braves!

ouch - more TO's from the PG position..
final minute 1st half - we're going to be in the lockerroom down 15 or more...

I will never understand why Jordan Prosser cannot execute a normal post-move. He has been playing the position for what, at least 6 years and cannot make a jump hook even look decent? I don't get it. And he needs to post up closer to the basket. That might be part of it.

I also do not understand why he doesn't EVER kick the ball out. He has to shoot everytime he gets it.

the first 5 minutes of halftime Dave Snell is talking about how we couldn't get our offense clicking....

hellooooo...it's not our offense as much as our defense, and we have just 6 asst but double digit turnovers...

stats at half...per ESPN but not sure of accuracy
                        Egolf - 7 pts, 1 reb, 3 fouls
                        Pickett - 6 pts, 2 reb, 2 fouls
                        Jake - 3 pts, 2 reb
                        Walt - 4 turnovers
                        DSE - 1-7, 2 pts
                        Pross - 5 pt, 5 reb
Bell, Crawford, Shayok - nothing notable
...maybe time to get Nate Wells some experience..

And so it starts, Bradley only won 5 games rest of season after 3-0 start last season. Looks like the same trend this season. I see very minor improvement over last season. Geno gets a little slack on the leash since a majority of the players are still Les recruits but next year Geno gets all the heat. He better show major improvement next season or else he's canned.
