  • BU recruit Mike Tucker signs Letter of Intent

We don't have any confirmation yet from Bradley, but then most of the basketball people are in Indianapolis yesterday and today, so maybe it is still on the fax machine.

But here is a report from a reliable recruiting guru Horace Neysmith that Mike Tucker has signed his Letter of Intent for Bradley.

    Great news......now let's get Delaney!
???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12

Hot Da-n that's the best news I've heard today. He sounds like the real deal. Welcome to BU Mike Tucker your gonna love it here. Now lets go get CHD and two bigs. Like a 4 and a 5.This is starting to be pretty special. We're on our way back .Way to go Geno and the staff. I have a feeling DD could be the next committment. Least I hope so.

This is great news and like you said if we can get Delaney, a good big man and Harrison Docks the next several years will be good for BU basketball and all the fans that have supported this program for so many years.

I believe most people believe it would take 3-5 years to get us back to where we would be contending. There has been fallout but it appears GF is doing his part to limit it, Last year's record, the de-commit of Abel and the lost fan base has been a bit of the fallout. I've always been willing to give GF time. None of this has been his fault and I believe he can get us to the top again.

Agreed SFP, and I'm one of them. But there have been a few "prominent" posters that predicted 10+. I wonder if they'll admit the error of their ways in a few years?

I don't fall into that category, but lets not count our chickens before they hatch. I'll reserve my excitement for when I see these guys on the court actually winning games in a Bradley uniform.

Yes....keep in mind there are also a group of "prominent posters" that have said we need to wait until any recruit is in uniform and contributing on the court. I have not personally seen any of these guys play, so I have to take everything I read and hold final judgement until I do.

Speculating on recruits is fun, but you're right, we won't know a darn thing until these guys start playing basketball games in Peoria.

Indeed. I am excited for Mike Tucker because he seems to be an up and comer, but I will hold out judgement for about 3 years from today.

I remember getting really excited about Anthony Thompson because he was highly rated on Rivals, Scout, etc. That taught me a lesson.

That same class.....I was really looking forward to seeing Will Egolf. Hopefully, he comes through this season.
