Florida Gulf Coast beat Miami 63-51

The ESPN story on this game lists a sellout crowd of 4,552 for this game! When Bradley played there a few years ago, they were averaging just a couple hundred fans per game, and they would never have attracted a team like Miami of the ACC to play them in their arena, let alone beat such a quality opponent. Miami is a very good team that was picked to finish 4th in the ACC preseason coaches poll among the 12 ACC teams, ahead of Florida State, Maryland, Virginia, Clemson, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest, and Boston College, and behind only Duke, UNC, and NC State.

OMG Miami loses again?
they barely beat Stetson but lost their exhibition to a D-II and now lose to FGCU..
Maybe they should bolt from the ACC and get in the Sunbelt or some other mid-major conference...

also note Washington loses to Albany, Virginia loses to Delaware, and Houston needed a miracle to beat San Jose State

Wow! That may be the upset of the year when all is said and done. Well, at least until Bradley beats Michigan! But congrats to FGC for the best non-BCS win of the year so far.

You can bet Miami will never play there again!

Great win by WSU! That's a bigger win than a lot of people might think it is. WSU in a "down" year wins on the road against a very dangerous VCU team that is capable of making a deep run in the NCAA Tournament each year. Plus a great payback win after VCU knocked WSU out of the tournament last year. That's a great sign regarding the strength of the Valley this year in their attempt to get more than two teams into the tournament.
