But - the only DI they did beat is Lamar - who have been shellacked badly in all three games they have played for Pat Knight...
Wouldn't want to be in the locker room with Knight after their shellackings!

It was refreshing to see the intensity most from Jake - his senior leadership means so much, along with WE and DSE. I've mentioned before: As the seniors go, so goes our team.
And I couldn't be much happier with how they've played to this point. And while they've had stretched in games where they are in a bit of a funk, they all have done the intangibles to help us win.

I'm actually o.k. with TP celebrating after every make. What I would have a problem with is the trash talk after a make. I enjoy seeing Pickett getting excited after a make - gets me a little more excited too as a fan. The guy plays his heart out - and because of that, his heart jumps out into his limbs.
If that's what keeps him going, then more power to him.
I completely agree. He gets fired up and in turn gets his teammates and the crowd fired up. He hustles on every play and gets upset when he makes a mistake. He is tough and the kid WANTS TO WIN, every play.

This is a guy that we have been missing the last few years and have badly needed.

Great to hear of someone on the BU roster assuming a leadership position, holding players accountable. With all the new faces, JE stepping into this role is great, he will be assuming a 'JJ Tuaui' role....letting his game/hustle/energy/teamwork do his talking.

Statistically I think JE could have a much bigger season than Tuaui. Now JJ's stats were only the beginning of what he brought to the table, but JE could be inline for a very nice year IMO. He earning the esteemed honor of being my resident favorite player (which is pretty much equivalent to MVC POY )

It's very early, but thus far, Jake has far exceeded my expectations.

J.J.'s O was much more natural and smoother. I'm just saying. Honestly I love these types of players. Its all about the team and hustling.

uh oh - there goes any pretense that IUPUI is a very good team...

On the heels of losing to North Texas by 14 - They just lost to 0-4 Lamar who haven't come within 15 points of beating anyone -
and whose four losses have been by a total of 79 points..........

Who in the world said "IUPUI is a very good team"?

I did hear Geno say they are a good team and should probably win 16 games this year. However, RealTimeRPI has them projected to finish 11-17. That website also predicted they would lose by 8 to Lamar.
???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12

....oh, and there's a thread or two on another message board where you'll have to mop up the drool to follow it....
