  • Gameday luncheon honoring AP

There was a huge crowd at Mitchell Anderson Court this afternoon honoring Anthony Parker. As a matter of fact, I thought it was the best gameday luncheon crowd that I've seen in years. AP was there with his family and was joined by former coach, Jim Molinari, and teammates, Billy Wright, Aaron Zobrist, and Chad Klein.

It was a great luncheon. Parking was great and it wasn't too long.

Good to see Mo there and AP along with his teammates.....

Really enjoyed the luncheon. Food wasn't the best I've had but it was great to see and hear AP. He is a great representative for the University . I was elated to see Coach Mo return and of course Dave Snell did a great job as emcee. Happy anniversary to geno and his wife. Now lets hope we can get a W tonight.

You know that Coach Mo has a ton to do and he's still there! That is the number one reason I was very disappointed when they let him go. Glad to see we are celebrating AP's career. Well deserved.

Would you guys have rather seen the AP ceremony at halftime of a game at Carver? Wouldn't you think we would have sold many more tickets just for that event?

Makes sense, but then they would probably make you buy tickets for 3 other games.

I sat near Anthony at the game tonight and got to talk to him briefly. He was humbled and honored to be back at Bradley and to be enshrined in the HOF. He was there with his wife and 2 boys, and his father and step-mother. He's a tremendous guy!

Lots of stories & tweets about Anthony Parker's honoring last night...
                even Candace Parker's tribute...

AP was the MVC Player of the Year, led BU to the NCAA, was the TOP player in ALL of Europe multiple times - and had a nice NBA career...and is a truly all around great guy...

to show a little contrast - this morning I saw a few tweets saying ISU should do likewise for Osiris Eldridge - and hang his number in the rafters...remind me again how many titles and NCAA appearances...?
