  • Dave Reynolds- Has Bradley found its glue guy

Has Bradley found its 'glue guy'?

Interesting. Some people didn't think he belonged on the floor and others didn't even think he was a D-I basketball player (along with everyone else on our roster last year). I've always enjoyed watching Jake do the "little things" like rebound and get the ball to other players.
???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12

+1. Those who know basketball understand his value. It's nice to see that he may be finally being used properly to utilize his strengths. He's really taken one for the team during his first three years at Bradley by accepting a role that he's not ideally suited for. Great strength of character in this kid!

The fewer shots Jake takes, and the less time he spends playing in the post, the better he'll be. He had a really nice game last night letting it come to him. I think he really only forced 1 shot.

This is pretty much how I feel. I like the way he plays the game but his shooting is not at the top of my list.

Every good team has a guy that is willing to do all the little things that do not show up in the stats. Sometimes its the pass before the assist that makes all the difference.
