Baby Steps to a Brighter Future

Well, we are a day away from being put to the test for another season.
Expectations (from hearing Braves fans) are a bit higher than last year (of course!), but not nearly as much as next season and beyond.

My hopes for this year:

Meet expectations (which the majority would say 12 wins) and not underachieve like past 3-4 seasons.

Seniors stay healthy and play solid to go out with some success.

Beat the 'Birds at least 1 time!

Team-oriented offense...and help defense

See some fight and grittiness from the BRAVES

Stay within striking distance by halftime of every game. Being down by 15+ at halftime is too much to overcome with this team. (this may be too hopeful on my part! )

By season's end, fans talking less about fallout, and more about a positive outlook toward the program - that there's a feeling that we're headed in the right direction!

Here's to a fun season of Braves hoops no matter what the outcome!

This is what I'm looking for! The program is not that far from where we would like it. I'm probably feeling a bit more positive about where the team is today then what I thought it would be. If the team can minimize tunovers, rebound and play great D we should be able to compete fairly well even when the O takes its breaks.

Program is headed in the right direction with all the new and incoming talent, we need one more big man to sign this fall and hoping to get another 6-5 or bigger wing , it appears the players will be here so now all we need is for the staff to coach them well.
