The USC team personnel deflated the footballs (let the air out) used in the game against Oregon - believing that would give them the advantage
and possibly negate Oregon's advantages.
Obviously it is against the rules to tamper with footballs in this way.
Later one of the team managers threw himself under the bus claiming he did it on his own..but a lot of people aren't buying it.
