Cheating at USC

The USC team personnel deflated the footballs (let the air out) used in the game against Oregon - believing that would give them the advantage
and possibly negate Oregon's advantages.
Obviously it is against the rules to tamper with footballs in this way.
Later one of the team managers threw himself under the bus claiming he did it on his own..but a lot of people aren't buying it.

note that this story also recounts an episode from last month when USC deceptively changed jersey numbers on players in the middle of a game against Colorado - something that is also against the rules.

story says that USC says that the jerseys were switched before the game.....so still would have same affect...but i guess its not against the rules? did they have to inform colorado?

None of those tricks seem to have been very helpful, since Oregon put up a whopping 62 points against USC, even with deflated footballs, and USC still lost.

but they switched them again DURING the game...

USC head coach Lane Kiffin is no stranger to allegations of cheating & lying....he even got "caught" committing an NCAA violation when he was hired by USC - BEFORE he even coached a game then lied about it
