  • Awful Video Intro...

Was anyone else on Saturday amazed at how poorly done the intro/starting line-up was done? For goodness sake they couldn't even get the music going..
There is no excuse for that. I didn't mind the video, but how the heck am I supposed to get pumped up with NO MUSIC? My two cents.

Seems like I have been saying the same for years .....

As well as 'complimenting' the band on playing a complete in-depth selection of four, maybe five different songs much too fast for any one to cheer along with comfortably. The coaching change came and went as well as many other transformations before now this year with a new floor . Change after change after change to presumably give us as PAYING fans a better product. Some how we still have an announcer believing we are there to hear him tell us the same cliches he has saved for us every year and not watch a good basketball game, all of the above, and, {am I too soon to say it?} a circus at every time out with one of four very worn out half time not acts but 'pretends'.

There has got to be some place we can go to have fun!

That must be a young thing. I didn't even notice. I'm just happy to be there and have my heart pumping. I don't need music to pump me up. Oh well to each his own.

Every decision nowadays is seemingly based on maximum profitability.

I think the band does a great job - can you imagine how empty and hollow the place would sound if they took a nite off

Music should be loud and something with a theme, the same every game, so we can all get into it, but it comes back on us as a fan base, The band and fans should be all we need , no sounds, just Drums pounding, the chant of BU or lets go Bradley would work too! I know the older guys around built the way for us and we wouldn't be here without ya'll, but this is now! Dont take shots at us! You couldn't hear most of the time at the Field-house am I right?! Bottom line is as a home court advantage as being that 6th man we have failed and its on us as Bradley fans old, young, middle aged, white, black, male, female, from the maniacs to those who just clap or never make a peep! This is gonna be one of the most important and greatest seasons as for me each season is haha! We have to change, the cheerleaders lead every game its time to follow!!!!!! Its starts at Pregame! Thanks that is all!

I still vote You'll Never Walk Alone, especially in light of the MASSIVE upset of Barcelona by Celtic today ^_^ Normally I like to moan about the video BUT here's a thought, and I know it's blasphemy.
How about we take off the names from the back of the jerseys? No vain intro with ridiculous hype? I'm not OPPOSED to the video and music, but that's befitting a more successful program. No one has a guaranteed starting spot, they have a number that they fight for just to play. It worked for Notre Dame and Penn State football, and it would make headlines, as I don't think that many basketball teams took this on. I'm with you, just the band playing before the game.

As far as problems with the band's set list, how about someone write some lyrics and music for the band eh? Instead of copying pop songs, create songs about the BRAVES like ND did with "Down the Line", "Hike! Notre Dame", "Here Come the Irish" and the like. Along with the Victory march, the band has no trouble finding things to play.
They do about two or three other pop songs, and they've recently taken to piping in the start of "Here Come the Irish" right before kickoff and leading in to "Shipping Up to Boston". They tried 7 Nation Army before big third downs, but they started having that as a Band song rather than piped in. The big one they pull out before big 3rd downs now (piped in) is "Crazy Train".

More 2 cents from me hahaha. Take it as you like!
... At the end, of the storm, there's a golden sky. And the sweet silver song of the lark. Walk on, through the wind, walk on, through the rain, though your dreams be tossed, and blown. Walk on, Walk on with hope in your hearts, and you'll never walk alone!
I'm behind you 100% Bradley Braves, You'll Never Walk Alone! BEAT STATE!
