    Really?

Why are we spending our time complaining about the new floor lol? This is a useless argument. Nothing we can do to fix it whether we like it or not. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, but in the end, it doesn't matter what we think at this point. It's done and over with.

Makes one wonder why a message board would exist. I see no reason to discuss/complain/voice opinions about how many games we'll win, pregame/postgame, scheduling, recruits, gametimes, coaching salaries, etc.

???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12

What I'm saying is the floor is already bought and put in, whether we like it or not, there's nothing we can do to change it now lol.

How long was it between floor makeovers? Is it more of a financial thing or a the floor gets old thing?

U of ILLINIois and their current floor which debuted last year is sweet and the majority loves it....

I also don't like the WHITE/RED at centercourt.....then the BLACK/RED on the baselines,....

do need to add BRADLEY UNIVERSITY down the sidelines top left half court and bottom right half court which are rightside up for TV games

Apparently ILLINOIS last redid their floor before the 2008-2009 season and again last summer (before the 2011-2012 season)

So its not like we have to wait forever...i don't think

The cost of the floor was $96,255.... I don't know if that is alot for BU esp if the CC is helping pay for it.

            EDIT!

you can't see from the photo but there is an outline of the state of illinois behind the I at center court

They put ILLINOIS top center.... it would be nice to have BRADLEY infront of scores table along sideline

Great to see someone that understands that Bradley is the most important part of this picture and they really missed the boat on leaving the school name off , this can be changed after the season by sanding off the boring B and replacing it with Bradley Braves.

I just talked to another BU grad and fan who sits with a long time big donor and alum. They are really upset with the new logo, and one other thing that I never considered much. Has anyone else noticed that the red color for the floor, and the logo on the basket support is a completely different shade of red? It is a different shade of red, after it had been the same shade of red since at least the 1960's. Why was that necessary?

This really has this guy honked off, and he is not planning on continuing his donations. I know this sounds odd, but some long time alumni are really sensitive to changes made, especially when they feel it isn't justified, and that the changes are being made by people who do not appreciate the tradition and history of Bradley. In his words- "That is my logo and my colors they are changing, not theirs".

OK, I am sure I have things that are important to me that others think are trivial. But all I can say is this guy needs to worry about more important things than this. It isn't Pink. Maybe if he concentrated on something more important than sports. ( As I type on a message board )

That seems extreme to me, but if that's how he feels, then so be it.

I just hope he lets Mike Cross know personally.

BU has never been consistent with it's red. I am hoping the new branding fixes this.

Hopefully he'll redirect his donation to a worthy cause... There are plenty of them. Please steer him that way if he brings it up again.
