About the mascot....I heard a mascot idea from a friend yesterday I had not heard before but kind of like. It fits in with our new "B" brand.
How about a bee for a mascot?
I think Division II St. Ambrose is the only collegiate team known as the Bees. We wouldn't be known as the Bees, but I think it has some potential as a mascot. It could be called "Bee Brave." While Duke crowds have their "ahhhhhhhhh" chant when the opponent has the ball, we could "bzzzzzzzzz." I don't know, but a bee with a "B" logo on its chest...er, thorax....works for me. I think the younger kids would like it perhaps more than the popular gargoyle. And it is more unique than the lion or eagle.
What do you think? Should we start some buzz about Bee Brave?Yajusneverno!

Glad to hear that we are still the Braves. Given the cr***y new logo, I am very nervous about what the new mascot will look like.Bradley 72 - Illini 68 Final
???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™

those Steelers throwbacks were pretty hideous.......if I were watching on an old black & white TV it would have looked like 19 referees on the field.....
also - glad they were willing to listen to the sensible masses....as evidenced by the fact that this story alone has over 100 people online viewing BradleyFans!!
