While I likely fall into the category of 'professional message board stalker' I did want to throw in my $.02 here.
I was most impressed with Will Egolf's unbridled play coming back from an ACL. He looked strong, aggressive and hungry. Couple that with the ability to step back and stroke the 3 ball......well, it got me fired up. How that translates moving forward.....we shall see, but I like that it provides Coach Ford with another weapon to potentially open up the offense he'd really like to run.
I'm curious to see if getting JP, SS and others back on the floor will enhance what I saw from WE last night by allowing him to play the 3 more.....I have to believe it won't hurt.
......taking my rose colored glasses of now. :0)"Are YOU fan enough?"

I went with the Seniors stepping it up.
The production of our seniors this year is a big key to success. We have not had a core of seniors since D-Ruff, Crouch, Salley (I think they all graduated together) that have meant as much to the team - not saying that these 3 key guys are as good, but we desperately need their leadership and consistency!!!
We have seen that when:
JE plays a solid game, the whole team benefits.
DSE catches fire, he can be that X factor to take over a game and may be the hardest guy to stop when he is in a groove.
WE has proven that he can score when he stays on the floor and refrains from unnecessary fouls. He is a good leader on and off the bench, and if he gets 25+ minutes per game, he is as effective as anyone on the Braves.

I'm looking forward to our depth this year - if we have 8 guys who are in consideration for a starting spot, we should certainly not be lacking too much in depth. And then 2 other guys (Bell & Wells) who should only get better as the season goes on.
I'm still concerned about the PG position, and hope that Lemon will not shoulder the responsibility there.
