A couple more familiar names to MVC fans-
Kevin Dillard, a former Mr. Basketball in Illinois, and who was at SIU for 2 years, was Dayton's leading scorer last year, and in their 2 exhibitions this season, has looked good. He had 13 points and 7 assists in their first exhibition, and 11 points and 9 assists in their second exhibition game.

Another former SIU player who was one of the highest rated recruits ever to sign with an MVC school in recent history, Anthony Booker is not having quite the same success. He transferred to Iowa State and has gotten lost behind a bunch of other recruits and transfers. He played in 32 games for Iowa State last year and averaged only 3.5 ppg and 2.9 rpg in 11 minutes per game. This year, in Iowa State's only exhibition game, as a starter he scored just 4 points and had 4 rebounds.

last night in Memphis' 65-54 win over Christian Brothers - Stan got a grand total of two minutes of playing time and had a complete statistical o-fer
...0 pts, 0 rebs, 0 asst, 0 blk, 0 steals - he did however pick up a foul...
Stan Simpson finally scored his first points of 2012-2013 - he's played so little and been scoreless in his other appearances...he now has 2 total points almost a month into the season...

Abdel Nader - who Bradley once offered....
has finally returned from suspension at NIU but unfortunately even tho he scored 17 (took 17 shots to get his 17 pts) plus fouled out the result was the same as most all their other games....
        they lost to UW-Milwaukee...

another BU recruit Akeem Springs had 21 pts & 9 rebs for NIU
..as noted elsewhere a few ex-BU recruits on UWM also played well - Paris Gulley 21 pts, Kyle Kelm 15, James Haarsma 14

BUT -- I think I spot one thing that may explain why NIU is so very bad....and I don't think I have ever seen this kind of bad ratio of assists per shots attempted...

NIU attempted 73 shots in this game and had only 6 assists!
Is this their game plan or the style they play?
