Interesting that Prosser and Egolf started together on the first team.

Isn't it a little difficult to watch a practice session where there's no other team, no opponent defending the players and still be able to judge whether the offense is that much better?

haha that is exactly what I was thinking before evening opening this
        thread....

reminds me of the "MK made 98 out of 100 3's in practice"

          I'm missing the point.

Is it that you don't see any validity it the way players perform in an intra-squad scrimmage?

He's basing his view on a intra-squad scrimmage with refs and that's what it looked like to him. It could be a different opinion after each scrimmage and/or game

Let's run with the positive but I see your point. The question is our D any better?

Perhaps DR's optimism comes from all the BU players making their uncontested lay ups during the scrimmage?

PS Let's not turn on DR, I thought BF.com folks liked DR!

I am sure there are some things one can see and judge - but I have been going to the preseason scrimmages since the Versace era - and in retrospect - the years we have looked the best were years that we ended up doing poorly and vice versa!!
Anyone remember JJ Tauai's freshman year when in the Red-White he was so impressive he got a standing ovation from some?
Then he kinda disappeared until his senior season!
