  • Chairman of Bradley Board of Trustees Mike McCord passes

Very sad news- Mike McCord, a long time fan and huge supporter of Bradley basketball, and a distinguished Peoria businessman who has served on Bradley's Board of Trustees, and who was the current Chairman of the Board passed away last night. He will be missed.

Mike was a great supporter and leader of many causes in Peoria and surrounding areas, including BU, United Way, The Salvation Army and Camp Big Sky.

He will be sorely missed, and we wish his wife Kay and the family well in their loss.
???We all want Bradley to win. If our methods and visions for that are different, then so be it. Don't ever attempt to tell me I am not a fan!???

Wow. Thanks DC, he and my grandpa were really close, my family has the utmost respect for the McCords.

I went to the memorial service today, the amount of Salvation Army members, community leaders, and people that packed First United Methodist Church downtown was just awesome. President Glasser's remarks were awesome and my dad recognized many faces of Bradley Basketball and Illinois Mutual in attendance. It is exactly the tone that Mike would have wanted. May he rest in peace.

It was very nice- President Glasser did a nice job, as did Mike's kids.

She called him a mentor- which I think Mike was to many that he met along his path. He will be missed...
