The next game should be a good one.

December 16th will be a funny one. I'm Spoon River Alumni. Ha! Their whole sports program is about to get the axe. It's a sad story, but it's gonna happen. The women's coach just quit 3 games into the season. The men are coming off a 3-23 campaign, lost all of their scoring, they probably won't win a game this year. As recent as 5 years ago they were ranked nationally and had a eal good team. It's sad.

I was once and administrator and then a faculty member at Spoon River. Nice little school... no money! The coaches when I was there were just part-timers who got paid very little. I mean little! They used to have a pipeline from Louisiana and got some good players, but apparently they lost that. Too bad.
