Story from PJ Star writer Dave Reynolds-

Note that Dave says the following recruits were at the game-
They include Morgan Park’s 6-foot-8 Josh Cunningham (recruited by Illinois, Michigan State, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Iowa, DePaul), Orr’s 6-6 Tyquone Greer (Illinois, Kansas State, Baylor, South Carolina, Notre Dame, Providence, DePaul), St. Joseph’s 6-5 Paul Turner (Purdue, Wisconsin, Creighton, Missouri, DePaul), Providence St. Mel’s 6-1 Tevin King (Illinois, Tennessee, DePaul), Orr’s 6-8 Marlon Jones (Baylor, South Carolina, Florida State, New Mexico, Auburn, Illinois) and Morgan Park’s 6-9 Xzavier Taylor (VCU, Wake Forest, Oklahoma, DePaul).

Pickett looked good , very sloppy I thought because it was the first time they played in front of a crowd and too many players were not playing team ball, Wells will get minutes as he can contribute some and with Prosser still not having any kind of inside shot he may get more time , without Egolf and Dyricus which have been named as early starters it was hard to tell how much better we might be this season but we definitely have more talent and depth, Eastman looked much improved but we still lack 3 point shooting which will make it much harder to score inside as we more then likely will see more zone defenses, will have a much better idea on where we are headed after the 2 exibition games.

Got to love Geno aiming high!

Was BU able to Cram the Coliseum to help these recruits think about giving BU a shot?

Dave Reynolds reports that the attendance was 1,421-

I suspect that figure includes the total attendance for all the events, because there did not appear to be quite that many present for the scrimmage.
