A lot of Bradley fans, as well as Chicago area sports fans will remember Bill Jauss. He died Wednesday (10/10/12) at the age of 81. He was a long time sportswriter (50 years), and spent 37 years working for the Chicago Tribune, retiring in 2005. He attended a lot of games in Carver Arena, covering Bradley during the 1980's and 1990's for the Tribune when they actually sent sportswriters down to Peoria to cover Bradley games. He was well liked by everyone. He is probably best known for appearing on a successful sportswriters talk show "Sportswriters on TV". That panel included Bill Gleason, Rick Telander and host Ben Bentley, in addition to Jauss.
