well - I guess we'd better get used to it....now it is apparent that the PJ Star has chosen this term and is going to use it repeatedly...

the title of today's column in the PJ Star about Bradley volleyball says..
"Bradley hits .034 vs. ISU in three-set loss in Ren-Col"



I also noticed that long time PJS sports reporter Greg Stewart - who has quit or been let go - is now advertising in the sports section & selling used cars...
Stewart used to do a lot of writing on the local high school basketball...he was the one who said and started the rumor
that Jonathon Wilkins was going to come to Central IL and play his high school basketball for Jim Youngman at Metamora.
Overall, I always thought he did a pretty good job.........

I prefer RC over Ren-Col.

Actually Greg is selling a fine line of new vehicles as well as used cars

and he's doing a great job too.

good to hear..........lefty - I have yet another going out of state and off to college next year -- might just need another nice, reliable used vehicle!

BTW -- did anyone know that SIUE BEAT us to the punch and already had a "CRAM THE...(arena)" event??
..or did we poach the phrase???

Yup - their home arena is called the Vadalabene Center...and their event is called...

""Cram the VC" Night" and it's SIUE head coach PAULA BUESCHER's big night this year at SIUE!!!
....because that night the SIUE women's team plays the SIU-Carbondale Salukis!!

Ren-Col sounds like a very uncomfortable medical procedure to one's rear end!

I know I just do not want one of those. I heard every guy over 50 gets one every year.

Hey why don't we vote for a nickname for the RC and use it on BF.com consistently and hell with what the PJS calls it. Eventually we'll win out if we get the students involved in helping us out. The Ren-Col sounds painful no matter how you spin it.
