Can we count on a couple good reports of what gets said at this year's "Smoker"?

I've never been, but I've always heard how fun it is. As I understand it, in the past, the coaches have put some things out there trusting that it wouldn't be reported by the media. -

Memorable lines from past Smokers - based on reports that were made public...
2006 - Bruce Weber's phone rings during his time to talk and Weber says...
".. wait a minute my cell phone is ringing and it is an Indianapolis area code"...
..later it's revealed it was Eric Gordon calling HIM!
2007 - some talk - especially by Weber - about criticisms he receives via the internet...and Weber responds "they can kiss my a**"
...also when asked about the decommit of Eric Gordon - he also said Gordon could "kiss his ***"...
2008 - this year - long after Eric Gordon reneged and went to Indiana - Weber still had a few choice words.....
....also several times the PJ Star folks and Weber trashed "the internet" - especially the "message boards" !!
Two new guards - Darian Norris & Eddren McCain were to play significant roles - hmmmm... how'd that turn out?
2009 - Bruce Weber was just coming off his infamous Ilini Meet & Greet where he stated (and thus correctly predicted) "Indiana will suck"...
..but he steered clear of any more quotable comments at the Smoker.
JL said he did not want Saint Louis in the MVC.
2010 - again the local message boards - especially THIS ONE were one of the main topics of the conversation and interaction.
Weber declined to discuss Bradley's win over the Illini in Vegas...
Sam Singh referred to as "Professor Singh" for being there 6 years..
2011 - Geno's first smoker, talked about using Walt as PG - was doing well in workouts, and joked with Bruce Weber about "stealing Sam Maniscalco"...
Geno said this about his own team - "this year's best only experienced point guard is playing in Champaign"..
and Weber again dwelt significantly on internet topics - especially controlling the players' Facebook, Twitter, and other accounts..Comment

I guess he can decline but he'd get a bunch of negative publicity so I suspect he'll do it like he's done all the other Illini preseason events & Meet & Greets..Comment

btw - the earlier post where I "recapped" some things said at past smokers wasn't any opinion or conjecture of my own - it was pretty much just cut-and-paste of what people testified was said from the old threads right here on BradleyFans...
I didn't do anything except to review what people stated in those threads and you're welcome to search and read them yourselves.
Anyone who takes exception then is taking exception to what they said themselves in those old threads going way back >> 5 years --Comment
