  • HOME of the...BRAVES

Geno has been emphasizing getting wins on our home court since he was hired.
I expect to see an improvement in our home record this season, escpecially with some easier non-conf. home games and we just gotta' do better than 2-7 in league play!!

What win total could you live with (considered to be acceptable) for this year's Braves?
There will be 7 non-conf. games and 9 Valley games (16 total)

Please don't say you'd just be happy with a more competitive team. We need to see some improvement in results along with that!
    35
7 (We are still in a major rebuilding process and don't expect much)
    11.43%
    4
    8 (I'll settle for .500 at home)
    37.14%
    13
9 (The majority of wins will be non-conf. games)
    22.86%
    8
10 (We gonna' start protectin' this HOUSE!)
    20.00%
    7
More than 10 (I Believe in Geno & this team!)

My vote was for 9 wins but I want to clarify that we are only in the 2nd year of a major rebuild. I think Geno has us headed in the right direction but like my Cubs we have a huge mountain to climb. I am confident Geno is the man to get us where we want to be. That's competing for championships but it's going to take a couple more years. I'd like to see us out of the cellar and not playing on Thur. in St.L. I think out of the cellar is possible but Thur in St.L. might be a stretch this year. I do think the furture is bright after this year at least I'm hoping. Go Braves.

I voted 8- I would be surprised if this team is much better than last year's team, but hopefully Geno can get it done.

Guess I'm the only optimist so far since I chose 10.

I voted for 8 wins as I am not expecting much this year. Everything seems to be structured starting next year. jmho

10, set the bar high for Geno. Nothing wrong with that!

I'm behind you 100% Bradley Braves, You'll Never Walk Alone! BEAT STATE!

I agree. I don't expect to see a great improvement in our record, but I do expect to see much better overall team play. I'll say 8 home wins and 2 or 3 on the road.

Should have offered more won / lost choices.....

Let's see. Same slippery spots on the floor which only Bradley seems to find with regularity. Same baskets disabling only the home team from making uncontested layups and free throws when counting the most. Same announcer doing his able best at taking the crowd of the game. Same band with the same four songs for every game and same full of himself civic center balding wearing glasses harasser in sections 9/10. Complimenting all of the above, mini circuses every time out further removing the crowd from the game. Four wins. Max. Two more losses here and there to isu. Thursday play in only to lose once again from all of the above manifesting itself in full.
There has got to be some place we can go to have fun!

I'm sorry you don't like the experience at Carver Arena.....Maybe you should just stay home then. And I believe that the band is very good, or would you rather they not have a band at all and just blast in stupid over the speakers music. My only complaint is that in the past few years they keep taking more time away from the band playing to play bad music over the speakers.

                      Double-digit wins?? smh
                      I voted for 9.

                        I'm with ya' Wily!
The reason I went with 9 is that I expect this team to win 5 of the 6 winnable games vs. the non-conf. teams at home. That means we go 4-5 in the Valley, and anything short of THAT at home would be a disappointment.

I mean, we won 2 at home last year in the worst season ever! Gotta' at least double that, especially with the outlook of a more experienced and deeper team.

The band is the only thing left making it a college atmosphere....its not a Bulls game, stop the commercials and give the band more than 4 or 5 songs a night (thats a lot of moving equipment for only a couple songs) and please let them turn it up!

I'm with you LittleBrave....Anything less will be very disapointing to me. I do not expect a lot from this team but I do expect the overall play to improve at home.
