With four scholarships, I don't mind a more "risky" unknown potential hidden gem for one of them. One down, three to go!

I feel a little better knowing that he was committed to UAB before switching to Bradley...at least he was on somebody else's radar. Regardless of his statistics, if he has a stroke from 3, I have no complaints.

            There's still a little here that's weird...
like how come Euro sites know and say more about him and his verbal to BU but nobody else does, and perhaps a more important question would be that if he's already been offered and he's already even verballed to Bradley - then has our staff seen the kid play lately?

They couldn't have seen him play any time since last February without going over to Europe, and I suspect we have not done that.
You always take a little risk offering kids that you have not seen (need I name names?)
So I look forward to hearing a little bit more about this kid...........

also - recruiting articles do sometimes jump the gun or make mistakes...
several times I have seen some article use the name "Bradley" when they really meant Butler, and many will remember there were several articles regarding Matt Roth that were just plain wrong...
like this one saying he had eliminated ISU, Butler, and the other schools that were after him and narrowed to just Bradley and Saint Louis.

After that Rivals article said that, Matt immediately told Jim Mattson that it was completely wrong and that he still was considering five schools.

Maybe it's a bit weird, but if Zecevic is to make his official visit to Bradley from Thursday-Saturday, somebody on this board would probably be able to back that up, right?

I hope someone does get more info while he's here on campus...
..also since he's played on a couple of Euro club teams - does he fit the same situation as JW and other Euro kids where they may get docked games by NCAA?

I was told that this commitment is a definite... I have no doubt we'll hear something official soon.

Let's hope this is not the case. But I imagine this kid is talented. There's probably a reason he was "placed" in Alabama for UBA.

A friend of mine who is up on Valley recruiting said he had not heard the name before & there are so many europeans out there vying for scholarships in the U-S they ar pretty hard to project. Their competition level before coming over is often very low.

All we can do is trust in the staff!

recruiting is definitely an inexact science - every school has high hopes on kids who end up flopping...but sometimes you get great find like the Yuba kids, POB, TB, Theron Wilson, etc..........
I am very hopeful Stefan (& Carter Evans & Chris Carter) will become great BU Braves!

This was one of those "worst kept secrets on the hilltop" situations...

"worst kept"?? Then how come even when those Euro sites were talking about it back on August 28 - not one mention or hint of it existed anywhere in the US until now (9/12/12)?
Not one - not even people who commonly know those "inside" things even had heard of this kid!
That actually was a pretty well kept secret....
