Several names have emerged for the open assistant coaching job at Bradley.

Probably the top candidate is Ronald "Chin" Coleman. He is currently the Director of Player Development at Nebraska under head coach Tim Miles. He worked as an assistant coach under Miles at Colorado State, and is a former coach with the Mac Irvin Fire AAU team in Chicago, and a former head coach at Chicago Whitney Young HS. Coleman reportedly will be visiting Bradley soon.

The 2nd name on the list of candidates for the BU assistant coaching job is Tim Anderson- He is currently the assistant coach at University of Texas-Pan American. He was formerly the head coach at Chicago Crane HS.-

Roger Powell- former Illinois player from Joliet. He is currently an assistant coach at Valparaiso. He has been contacted, and seems like he would be a great choice for Bradley, but he is no longer a candidate.

Deon Thomas- former Illinois star who holds the career record for points scored. He is originally from Chicago (Simeon HS), and is currently the Athletic Director and Head Coach at Lewis & Clark Community College in Godfrey, Illinois.
