They've dropped sports, made big cutbacks, even considered dropping back to Division II...but UNI still has issues with funding as noted in a couple articles in their press......

BTW -- this USA Today story shows that between 50% (UNI) and 66% (ISU) of public MVC schools' athletic budget is "subsidized" by the taxpayers!
