A good read. Especially this part...

Other coaches are pointing to the lack of distinction between high-major and mid-major prospects this season. The depth at the top of the 2013 class is outstanding, but it tends to thin out a little bit toward the end of the top 100. Players who are getting mid-major looks right now think they're high-major prospects, and they are willing to wait it out. On the other hand, high-major schools don't think these middling prospects are good enough, and are holding out on actually offering a scholarship.

That's interesting and I agree lots of the top guys are in the "waiting for Calipari to call"-mode...
.....because I guess since I count nearly 70 of the Rivals Top 150 already verbaled...as being quite a few - knowing that they're all jostling for the best offers...
Seems like the ones holding out are all expecting and will probably get offers higher than midmajor.
..and several of the really highest (King, Woodard, Davis) have verbaled in just the past few days...with many more taking visits and saying they're narrowing and going to decide soon....

Plus I just checked on the 2013 recruiting classes of all the MVC schools, and many other top mid-majors and virtually ALL of them have already begun to fill their Class of 2013 many with multiple commits....can you name any that haven't?
....Butler, Xavier, Dayton, UAB, SMU, Memphis, Loyola, Valpo all locking in on decent (3-Star) talent...
