He is still narrowing it down. He does have some favorites. His decision will likely come before HS starts would be my guess.

That's a nice highlight reel. I look forward to watching him play this winter.

Supposedly narrowed down to Boston College, Illinois State, Valpo and SLU. Those are the official campus visits he is taking out of the 20+ offers he has.

Intersesting......I thought out of those teams Butler would have been a good fit.

Only officials lined up are Boston College (which he took two weeks ago), Illinois St, and Valpo... St. Louis probably dropping out with Rick Majerus stepping down. Like I said he has so favorites and cutting his list, but decision wont be made for another couple months! Unless something drastic happens, would be my guess.

I thought I had heard somewhere that the offer at Butler was no longer there. I could be wrong though.

The kid's really developing a good D1 body. I think if BC comes calling he'd be a fool to pass on them. He seems to have a little bit of "Wally World" in him, if you know who I mean. I think he can be a good D1 player in the right system. I'm not sure that system would have been ours though... So I can see why Geno may have placed a higher priority on more athletic players.

It all comes down to what you want from the experience. If he wants to play in a big time basketball conference, he should grab the BC offer if it's still on the table. If he wants to play close to home, then ISU is the logical choice. If its all about getting the most playing time, then Valpo is a safe bet.

He had a Butler offer for about 4.5 days. Then ANDREW CHRABASCZ committed (July 17 Chrabascz offered, 7/31 Alec Peters offered, Chrabascz committed Aug 4)

Thinking this was the original intent... Decision probably not happening until Turkey time.

???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™

when I was at the Richwoods Shootout I heard a guy nearby saying that Alec is just now developing the intensity the bigger schools want to see - that 'til now he looked like he was only playing for fun...believe it or not....that "he smiles too much".....
I suppose if this guy was a college recruiter he'd have passed on Magic Johnson & MJ.... LOL
