Things are beginning to look up for BU! I believe the fog is slowly burning off of Bradley Basketball.

I'm looking forward to seeing it. Just the next step in a fresh start.

Really? Because of a new logo and a new floor?
Seems I recall you guys once saying nothing mattered but wins?
From PJ Star sports expert Kirk Wessler in his Jan. 10, 2012 column following 8th loss in a row at Drake-
"Yes, the Braves are better than they were when the season started two months ago. By a light year or two, they??™re better."

And from the PJ Star 4/26/12, Dave Reynolds-
"Fields and Grier both appear to be difference makers. If Bradley continues to add the right players around them, happy days may be ahead for the Braves after a long dry spell."

I don't think you recall me saying anything.

Anyway, will the team be better because of the new floor? Of course not. I was referencing that the new floor is well-timed with the new brand imaging and logos.

I agree. It is much needed. We have always been in favor of enthusiasm!

Even though I do not like most of the new logos, I agree with your post about timing etc.

                  Hhhhmmmm ... ... ...

Yet another new logo on the floor. Did you hear it? Could your ears capture my jump for joy there as I said it? How does this help the team woes of missing so many uncontested layups and free throws? People will argue with me about how I believe the band is so lame. 'Oh! But they are so good!!!' Who wouldn't be, playing the same four possibly five songs every game every year? Have you ever taken upon yourself the chore of listening to a Chicago Cubs game hoping beyond hope you can just once listen to the crowd at Wrigley and sounds of the game in play?
Rest assured none of you will have to put up with me at any of the games. Paying my hard earned money to take a bat to my head in response to all of the above and everything else making up a carbon copy of every season for the past almost ten years is something I no longer choose to do. It feels good, this freedom does, indeed.

Think about it. First they took away the Bradley Brave. Next was the addition of a ref to the two for every game since the aforementioned two were not already slowing down the game enough. The move to the civic center followed shortly thereafter helping in beginning of removing what we had at the field-house in home court advantage. Then came the introduction of a mini-circus every time-out. {This helps the Braves win ... ... ... how?} QUICK!!!!! Let's have some person run from the court all the way to the top of the stadium to deliver an empty pizza box. Wow!!! How many times have you seen such nonsense at a Chicago Bears game??? The name Braves became to some in a world I still can not fathom as a sort of curse word and now to top it all of we have a sham of a new moniker.

Have at it BU fans. Happy day. How much longer until we, errrrrr, they decide to go Division II?
There has got to be some place we can go to have fun!

after 100 years of major college basketball at Bradley, the new floor will definitely push them into d2.

Some really groundbreaking stuff you've posted here, Mr. Kaczynski.

It's not my intent to tell you how to feel, but there really isn't anything here that wouldn't have been the case at any other school in the country.

Opinions are like, uh, elbows.... Everyone has two.

The lament from GTG about the tidal wave of change on the Hilltop with the MBB program is
how he feels, nothing right or wrong about it.

                          It is what it is...

I find the older I get, the more I too lament some changes, particularly, when
the change affects something I remember dearly from an earlier happier time....

                          Like my wife's physique.

                          ba da boom!

Yahoo has a story on their front page talking about Long Beach State??™s new court. Not as over the top as Oregon's court luckily.

Some of the non-traditional court designs that have popped up recently throughout college basketball turned out too garish for many fans' taste. Long Beach State's, on the other hand, is distinctive without being overdone. Since its campus is located three … Continue reading
