I'm hoping for a shadow of a castle wall on Bradley's new court.

I believe this ADeparment has the ability to underwhelm us to the fullest extent with a crappy floor. They need to make it legit. not like oregon but atleast fresh like Illinois' new court (intentional illini comparison)

Sadly, I am pretty confident that you are correct.
              Bradley 72 - Illini 68 Final

???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™

I think it will have a relatively traditional, conservative feel to it.

                  Speaking of bad floor designs.......
Thankfully BU didn't make this list as Bleacher Report ranks the WORST playing floors in college basketball.........

As you might guess the hideous floor at Oregon and horrific color schemes of Boise State, Florida A&M, and Idaho State make the list...

But here are two of the worst..............Cal State-Bakersfield where the only part of this hideously ugly floor that isn't painted is "in the paint"!!!
Blame Boise State’s smurf turf if you must, but for some reason there has been a recent trend in collegiate athletics where traditional is not good enough...

Then the winner is Northwestern...........just a little overdone with the purple paint....
..and calling themselves "Chicago's Big Ten Team" right there in Evanston.

I kind of like the Northwestern court...really, whats wrong with having a (really) customized court?

Are some of those, obnoxious to look at...yes, maybe, depends on your eyes I suppose. But they are all distinctly their own.

                    Carver could use more red.

I saw a couple of games televised from Northwestern's arena last season and even with modern capabilities for lighting - the game was hard to watch as the extremely dark background made it hard to see things

I don't mind the purple on Northwestern's floor, but I don't like the white.

I like it too and don't feel it's hard to follow the action.
I didn't go to Northwestern, but as a pretty new Chicago resident, proud of my city, and having connections in Evanston, that tagging of "Chicago's Big Ten Team" makes me want to follow & root for the 'Cats a little more...especially in college football.

Have been? Yeah. But its hard to argue they are moving in the right direction... BU used to be the best basketball program in Illinois too, things have changed.

Football? I've run across more Notre Dame fans in Chicago than Illini fans.
... At the end, of the storm, there's a golden sky. And the sweet silver song of the lark. Walk on, through the wind, walk on, through the rain, though your dreams be tossed, and blown. Walk on, Walk on with hope in your hearts, and you'll never walk alone!
I'm behind you 100% Bradley Braves, You'll Never Walk Alone! BEAT STATE!
