No way a team doesn't fill the void at such a nice stadium.
Hasn't it flipped multiple times between Cards and Cubs...expect the cardinals back

I'd gladly exchange my memory of hearing and watching a Chief break his leg sliding into home
I still enjoy watching baseball, outdoors on a summer day enough to take the family to a few games.
It is surprising watching those kids commit errors when you realize they were the stars of their HS and/or college teams...you do get used to the high quality play in the majors. I remember Nomar's rehab appearance. Earlier in the game, the Chiefs SS committed an E on a ground ball. When Nomar got into the game, the same hit came his way, and he fielded it cleanly.

I am a Cubs fan but this does not bum me out at all. This is tremendous news for Peoria and the Chiefs organization. Other cities like Bloomington and Joliet are dying for affiliated baseball. The Cards coming back was the best case scenario for keeping MiLB in Peoria.

What this will guarantee is more sleeveless shirts, jean shorts, mullets, goatees, and tribal arm-band tattoos at Chiefs Stadium.

What's most important is the health of the organization; and if it can't be the Cubs, the Cardinals need to be in Peoria. When the Cardinals were here before, I went to as many Chiefs games as I did while they were a Cubs affiliate (both times).

... AND, more World Series Champions tee shirts.

Quad Cities did a World Series replica ring giveaway that would have been cool. I have some friends that went to some of the games and they have like 6. They were really nice!... At the end, of the storm, there's a golden sky. And the sweet silver song of the lark. Walk on, through the wind, walk on, through the rain, though your dreams be tossed, and blown. Walk on, Walk on with hope in your hearts, and you'll never walk alone!
I'm behind you 100% Bradley Braves, You'll Never Walk Alone! BEAT STATE!
