  • New ranking of 2013 Illinois players

Sun Times high school basketball writer Joe Henricksen has a new Top 13 players list after evaluating them over the summer-

    A couple thoughts-
He ranks Jabari Parker #1- no brainer
Malcolm Hill is #2- Hill barely played this summer because of a blood clot in his arm that sidelined him. So I am not sure how he moves him ahead of everyone except Jabari Parker by sitting out all summer.
Several players who were once Bradley recruits long ago are listed- Kendrick Nunn, Kendall Pollard, Alvin Ellis, Ben Moore, Nate Taphorn, and Marquise Pryor.

And #10 is Alec Peters, who is not a BU recruit-
    10. Alec Peters, 6-7, WF/PF, Washington
Plain and simple, he's the best shooter in Illinois. Yes, he's limited athletically. But when you're 6-7, fundamentally sound with a good I.Q., crafty and can shoot the ball the way he does, you're a wanted man. He plays the game right and is a must-get recruit for any mid-major plus type program involved with him.

Sounds like Alec Peters could be a nice fit & good get for us--pure shooter & good academic student--why not a BU recruit?? I assume other schools have offered?
    Bradley football--undefeated again this year

In case you haven't been keeping up, Alec Peters has over 20 offers. But from what we hear, Bradley is not recruiting him.
