The newspaper had a little blurb in the sports section stating that
10 years ago today, the Bradley Basketball Team of the Decade (for the 1990's) was revealed...
The players on the team were Curtis Stuckey, AP, Aaron Zobrist, Bayo, Rob Dye, Deon Jackson, Jerome Robinson, and Billy Wright.
Since the Team of the 1990's was revealed 10 years ago then let's nominate for the Team of the 2000's...
If we are allowed eight selections as were named for the 1990's then my nominees would be as follows for 1st and 2nd Teams...
(btw- Jerome Robinson finished his career in 2001 but since he is listed in the Decade of the 1990's, I won't list him again in the 2000's)
1st Team
Cellus
Andrew Warren
Jeremy Crouch
Sam Maniscalco
Patrick O'Bryant
Daniel Ruffin
Phillip Gilbert
Theron Wilson
2nd Team
Will Franklin
James Gillingham
Tony Bennett
Lawrence Wright
Zach Andrews
JJ Tauai
Chris Roberts
Dodie Dunson
One Hon. Mention might be Danny Granger but he simply didn't stay long enough at BU to amass any significant career numbers...
the other Honorable Mention that I will throw out is Danny Adams - who gave us 5 years of tremendous effort and "intangibles".
