Just to clarify. I meant my comment more as a criticism of the conversations we were having. Not a complaint against the program. I expect not much to be going on this time of year.

the BU release on the Community nights and the PJS story both say absolutely nothing about men's basketball being involved in these....
unless it's covered by these comments...
"...and select coaching staff members".....and ..."..a handful of Bradley student-athletes.."

If BP is watching could he clarify -- are these events for men's basketball coaches and players as well??

Bradley's Community Nights are Tuesday & Wednesday of this week...
Page Not Found (404): It looks like you're lost... The page you are looking for no longer exists.

I'm still going to try to get there and see if any of the coaches or players make it.....
but based on other sources and on the players' tweets - summer sessions are over and the majority of players in every sport have gone home and are not in town?
Summer session ended Friday, August 10
Fall semester classes don't begin until middle of next week
...residence halls don't even open back up until August 18

That would be EXTREMELY foolish and short-sited on Bradley's part... Let's hope that doesn't happen.

Last year we not only had coverage in the press but a media release from BU

This year - nothing so far and I can't even find anyone who was at either event --
I went to the one in Morton. The turn out was about like the one in Washington last year. Dave Snell was the MC. The coaches talked for about 2-3 minutes. Jim DeRose spoke first while his players were warming up for the game. The men's basketball team had all of the coaches there plus DSE which I believe was the only player there. Women's basketball had all the coaches plus Brooke Bisping was there. The volleyball team had all the coaches and all the players there. Other coaches there were the baseball coach, tennis coach and track coach. There were other other Bradley kids there but I don't know if they were players from some of the other teams I don't follow. It was a very enjoyable night except for the first loss of the year for the soccer team.

Prosser and Egolf were also in attendance.

Sorry, I do not get on the board every day or check every thread when I am on. Whenever you have a question, please feel free to email me, as I am much more likely to see that immediately and respond accordingly.

I would like to thank all of those fans who took advantage of the opportunities to visit with Bradley coaches and staff, as well as the few student-athletes who were available, during the two Community Night events. Most all of our head coaches attended the events, including Coach Ford and his staff, and I hope those who attended took advantage of the opportunity to chat with them.

We will continue to evaluate these events and I am sure do them a little different in the future.
